This was exactly what we needed, and I didn’t think such a thing existed. It really is perfect. We have a young puppy who tends to run around our car when we are leaving. With this, we can pop him in his crate, and when we have reached the road, press the button. The crate then unlocks, and he is free to run around the garden until our return. We love it.
Worth every penny
It's a simple concept and a brilliant solution. It changed our routine. No more waking up to open the crate at 5-6 am; we just set the timer, and when I get up, our little one is hanging out by the living room. Also, great customer service. I had a small issue with one of the parts, and the owner/seller sent a replacement right away.

Bought this for security. Our dog sleeps in another room in his crate at night, so I wanted a way to release him immediately in case of an emergency. I thought that there might be something like this available, so I searched Amazon, and what do you know, here it was. Relatively simple but effective design is easy to install. I got the unit with the A/C adapter for 100% reliability. Max respects his crate and won’t try to get out until we let him out. He knows we want him to come out, but with a little training, he learned that when the latch pops open from the remote control, and he hears that, it is his cue to press the door open & come out. I really like knowing that in the event of an emergency at night, all I have to do is pop the remote, and he will be released to protect our family. Great invention!

So happy to have found this:) The problem I had was that my tenant left for work 20 minutes after I did, and my poodle had a habit of going outside to attack her by trying to bite her ankle. Luckily, she’s a small dog and can’t do much harm, but I can see how annoying it can be to have to deal with this every day. Now I don’t have to worry. I lock her in the cage, and 30 minutes later, it lets her out... The man who invented this device was very helpful. I was ready to return it, and once I spoke to him, he explained how it worked, and ever since, it’s been great. My only regret is not buying it sooner.

Easy to install
This is a lifesaver! I’ve wanted to let my dog out of his crate remotely for years. He’s 10 now, and the door opener with the Wi-Fi built-in has finally given my pup freedom! He is fine tooling around the house on his own, but he doesn’t like to see me or his walker leave. Now I can put him in the crate and let him out after I’ve left and (from work!) after the walker leaves.

I modified it for my purpose. It is on a gate for my outdoor kennel/dog run. Google it and watch all the different applications on YouTube. Solid built. Now, I don’t have to go outside in the cold to open the gate to let my dog in the house. I still have to put her in still, but it cut my trip outside in half. I can also release the gate if someone is in my yard without permission. Very happy with it.
I’m a believer
To say I was skeptical would be an understatement… But it really does work. I bought the two-latch system, installed one latch on each of my dogs’ crates, and plugged it into a timer, and it worked like a charm. Training my dogs to come out of the crates took a day, but they got it… I’m going to buy another set, because I can’t imagine what I would do if it stopped working.

This product is not only practical by letting me release my pups from far away using the remote control if I’m at home or my phone if I’m not, but it comes in very handy in a variety of different circumstances like those described in the ad, but it is also LOTS of fun for both them and me. They love it when they hear the “click” on their cage door, which they quickly learned means it has magically opened for them, and they come running to me straight away as happy as can be. It was easy and quick to install, too, using the directions provided. My friend told me how he and his wife use theirs to release their dogs for the day after they have safely made it away from the house, so the dogs don’t jump on their good clothes or dangerously try to follow the moving car.

I’m just writing to let you know that I installed the Easy Out this morning and was able to use it when I arrived home tonight. It worked great, and I did NOT have to listen to my beagle Goldie barking until I reached her crate and could let her out. She just came running to greet me. What a delight. I’m sure my neighbors appreciate it, too.
I did not have any trouble installing the Easy Out. I love it so far and feel it is a very cool invention!

A few months ago, my wife ran over one of our dogs. We have three of them, and they like to chase us down the road. We have a dog door leading outside of the house in the utility room, which is accessed by a hollow core door in another room of our house. I purchased two (2) Easy Out devices and installed another dog door leading into the utility room. With little effort, I was able to install latches for the door flap attached to the 2 Easy Outs. What is great about this invention is that my wife and I can now unlock the Easy Outs after getting a 150-foot head start down our road. We live in a very rural area on a farm whose road ends at our house, so the dogs do just fine when they choose to be outside.
Please tell the inventor that we are very pleased with his product. When it is necessary for us to be away from home for most of the day or overnight, we can release the dogs, and they can come and go as they please.
Thank you for giving us peace of mind, knowing that our dogs are safe from injury.

would like to tell you how much my puppy and I have enjoyed using your Easy Out product. It was very easy and straightforward to install, and I had it working in less than 10 minutes. Living in a townhouse with three floors, I spend a lot of time going up and down stairs, but this has saved me a lot of them! My favorite part, though, is when I press the remote-control button and immediately begin to hear her running towards me as fast as she can from far away, and then she bursts into sight and sprints the last part to greet me!
Also, I was also able to more quickly and effectively crate train by incorporating the Easy Out. She now handles transitions to and from the crate with ease, confidence, and calmness. What she enjoys the most, though, is being released by the Easy Out. I think she sees it as an awesomely wonderful surprise gift she receives every time the door “pops” free, and she is able to run to us and give us kisses!

This is a great product, and there is probably a big market for it in the UK if you ever decide to expand. I certainly couldn’t find a similar product here, and I looked quite hard.

In case I didn’t tell you why we love the opener, our 150-pound Newfoundland has been crate-trained since he was a puppy. He likes sleeping in his crate. But, with it being that size, my wife likes keeping the crate downstairs. So, while it is great to have the protection of a massive dog, in the event of an intruder, it doesn’t do us any good if the intruder is between us and the dog … with the dog locked in his crate. Thus, your device makes it very simple: Push the button and release the beast 🙂
Beyond that, it is just so simple for me to put on my pot of coffee in the morning, press the remote button, and meet my buddy at the door (no stairs, for me anyway).

I’m an electrician, and I’ve been going back and forth thinking of ways to do just what you did: magnetic door releases with time clocks, motors, etc. I'm glad I found this now. I don’t have to think about it anymore, LOL!

What a great invention! I need this to feed my dog refrigerated wet food. My plan is to buy a small crate with the wet food inside, on ice, to keep it cool. This way, my dog can go in at a set time to eat when I’m not home. None of the auto feeders work for me because they're refrigerated wet food. So, thank you!!
